Ingredients:
- ½ cup sweet potatoes, boiled
- ¼ cup cheese, grated
- 2-3 tbsp coriander, chopped
- 1 green chili, chopped
- 1 tsp aamchur (mango powder)
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- 7 to 8 NutraGro button mushrooms, cleaned and stalks removed
- ¼ cup refined flour
- ¼ cup bread crumbs
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Preparing the Stuffing:
- In a large bowl, combine boiled sweet potatoes, grated cheese, chopped coriander, green chili, aamchur powder, red chili powder, and salt.
- Mix all the ingredients using a masher or a fork until well combined.
Stuffing the Mushrooms:
- Carefully stuff the cleaned NutraGro button mushrooms with the prepared mixture.
- Thread 2 stuffed mushrooms onto a small skewer or a toothpick for easy handling.
Coating and Frying:
- Make a thick batter by mixing refined flour, water, and a pinch of salt.
- Dip the stuffed mushrooms in the batter, ensuring they are well coated.
- Roll the battered mushrooms in bread crumbs for a crispy finish.
- Deep fry the mushrooms in hot oil until they turn golden brown.
